Case study:
As well as providing the puppets to Tim Burton’s Corpse
Bride, Mackinnon & Saunders in-house computer resource centre
also provided digital services including photo-compositing &
retouching which helped in the character, armature & puppet
design phase of the production. Some character elements were
pre-visualised in 2D using Photoshop and in 3D using Maya
Unlimited.
The computer resource centre also offered a vital visual
communication hub linking MacKinnon & Saunders to the Grangel
studio in Barcelona as well as to the Corpse Bride production
office in London.
